Based on new State of Alabama Immigration Laws, All new license and renewal applications from Individuals and Partnerships must include proof of citizenship. This information must be included with your application or the application will not be accepted and any late fees would apply. Corporations and LLC’s are not required to file proof of citizenship; but, for an individual or partnership a copy of a valid current drivers license will suffice along with a signed statement in writing that the individual is a US citizen.
